beautiful kilkea castle and grounds was the venue for the wedding of irene and padraic on 7th June.assistant manager, Barry Carroll took great care of the couple and the day went off very well. My highpoint was a very pleasant walk in the grounds with the couple.

This wedding was shot at the new venue The Millhouse in Slane, co. Meath - its very stylish,and very snazzy run by a lovely lady called Janey (above) who did all the interior design herself and who takes a really personal interest in the couples that come to stay with her.

Emma and mo are great fun! Some couples you can just tell belong together.Their venue was the Wineport lodge famous for its amazing food - try their tender organic beef and you ll see what i mean. The breakfast buffet needs to be eaten to be believed..

I like natural uposed image - the wedding day goes ahead with or without the photographer - i believe in keeping a keen eye out for the unstaged images that turn up all the time but its sometimes hard not to suggest a posed shot especially when presented with a pretty girl and a sence of Bluebells and dappled spring sunlight.

Kilshane house has to be one of my favourite venues - its palatial and elegant and the humour and hospitality of Jane and Elaine make this house a pleasure to visit. Jane held annual charity night for the local hospice and helped raise thousands of euro. In 2008 im hoping theres another charity night and we can do a repeat of the studio set-up photographinbg the guests that contributed partly to the success of the night.
